Brendan O’Neil
Mental Performance Coach

I was born and raised in Massachusetts, where I attended Springfield College, a small northeastern school who’s mission is focused on the holistic development of the individual. In a way, my alma mater’s mission lies beneath the surface of Ascend Performance. I have always been driven toward helping people, and it was at Springfield where I was able to orient that drive in a meaningful direction through the field of Sport and Performance Psychology. I have been fortunate to bring this drive to multiple contexts including military personnel, athletics, and business.

My goal as a mental performance coach is to help athletes and performers improve by developing psychological flexibility processes in an open, digestible and compassionate manner. Throughout this process, my goals are to normalize the fundamentals of human behavior, reveal the values you find most important in your performance, and utilize those values to fuel meaningful change.
